The Story Behind
Divinely Becoming

A ministry rooted in purpose, built on relationship, and growing by God's grace.

Why We Exist

Many women and families face isolation, uncertainty, and a lack of intentional spiritual guidance. The church is vital, but it can't always walk closely with every individual through life's daily complexities

.

That's where Divinely Becoming comes in. We exist to fill that gap, providing hands-on mentorship, practical care, and a Christ-centered community where women can discover who they are in Him and walk confidently in their purpose.

What Does "Divinely Becoming" Mean!

Our name carries deep meaning. "Divine" speaks to the nature of our Heavenly Father. "Becoming" represents the refining process of sanctification, the beautiful ongoing work God does in us as we grow in the knowledge of Him.

To be divinely becoming is to show up in the world as a reflection of His presence—living, working, and engaging in ways that exhibit his qualities, while continually learning to walk in freedom from sin.

Meet our Founder Melita

Hi there! I'm Melita Jackson, the founder of Divinely Becoming. I'm a believer in Christ, a student of God's Word, and a woman who deeply understands the power of walking alongside others.

I'm also a wife to my incredible husband, Pastor K. Jackson Jr., and together we've built a beautiful family over more than two decades of marriage. We're the proud parents of four amazing kids, ranging from a teenager to young adults finding their way in the world."

This ministry was born from my own journey and from watching God work through mentorship, community, and intentional discipleship. I've seen what happens when women have someone to walk with them, and I believe that's exactly what the body of Christ is meant to be.

When I'm not pouring into this ministry, you'll find me with my family, on a walk with my husband, or soaking up some much-needed "Jesus and me" time.

Thanks for being here, I'm so glad our paths have crossed.

Our Mission

Divinely Becoming empowers women of all ages and families through discipleship-based mentorship and practical support. Rooted in 2 Peter 1:3, we journey together toward greater faith, healing, and purpose. We are building a community where compassion is lived out, service is second nature, and every woman knows she was made for more.

Where we're Growing: Wings of Hope, Kenya!

God is clearly up to something! We're stepping into an emerging partnership with Wings of Hope in Samburu and Nairobi, Kenya. This God-ordained connection is supporting youth, teens, and women through discipleship, sustainability projects, and long-term empowerment.

As we seek God's direction, we're prayerfully dreaming about agricultural projects, community wells, mission trips, and discipleship programs. This relationship is young, but we see His fingerprints all over it.

"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion."
